STOP THE WAR ON CHILDREN

Around the world, war is tearing children’s lives apart. From Syria to Yemen to Ukraine, children are living in deadly conflict zones and experiencing things no child should have to.

World leaders need to act now. We want to see an end to this violence – join us now if you agree.

More than one in six children globally live in a warzone*. That means every single day children are experiencing unspeakable horrors with devastating and life changing consequences.

Their homes, hospitals and schools are destroyed by bombs. Their friends are shot and injured. Their families are killed.

This is a war on children.

The recent earthquakes that struck both Türkiye and Syria killed over 51,000 people and made things even worse for children. After years of conflict and terror, children there are now facing new devastation and destruction.

So far the world has failed on one of the most defining issues of our time: To stop crimes against children. We need immediate action.

Join our campaign now if you believe...

1. World leaders must always uphold international law to protect children in conflict.

2. Those responsible war crimes against children must be held to account

3. Children in warzones must be given practical support on the ground to protect and care for them, and to help them recover.

Lives and futures depend on the international community acting now: they depend on us.

Will you stand up for the millions of children in danger? By demanding change from governments, and by supporting Save the Children’s recovery programs helping children in conflict-affected regions, you can make a practical difference to children’s lives in war zones.

We must #StopTheWarOnChildren.

*Around 449 million children, more than one out of six children globally, lived in areas affected by conflict in 2021.
